These terms are an agreement between you and Callida Tech ("we", "us"), the maker of WagWatch. They apply to the WagWatch mobile apps, the web app at app.wagwatch.app, and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
WagWatch is a shared logbook for a pet's daily care: the events you record, medications and reminders you set up, daily ratings, notes, trends drawn from your own entries, and optional summaries generated from them. It helps you keep and share a record. It is not a veterinary service, it does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and nothing in the Service is medical or veterinary advice. Decisions about your pet's health belong to you and your veterinarian.
You need an account to save data. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create one. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity under your account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, their terms also apply to that sign-in. You can explore the app without an account using the sample pet; nothing you enter there is saved.
A household is a group of accounts that share the same pets and history. Anyone who joins with your household code or invite link becomes a member and can see and add to that history, and the household owner can remove members. The owner can also give a sitter or a trainer a temporary pass, named by email and set to run for a number of days the owner chooses. A pass is not membership: it allows seeing the pets and their current medication schedule, seeing the current day's entries and adding new ones, and nothing else, and it ends by itself on the date it was set for. Share links you create give read-only access to whoever holds the link until the link expires or you revoke it. Share only with people you trust.
Everything you log belongs to you. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it back to you and your household, generate the features you use (such as trends, exports, and summaries), and deliver reminders. You can export a complete copy at any time from Export Data and delete everything from Delete Account — both under More, on the phone and on the web. You are responsible for what you upload: do not add content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, to disrupt or overload the Service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, to scrape it, or to use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Some features require a Premium subscription. Subscriptions bought in the mobile apps are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, renew automatically until cancelled in your device's subscription settings, and are refunded only under the store's own policy. We never see your payment details. Free features stay free, and your existing data remains viewable if a subscription ends. Prices and included features may change; we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Callida Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms or that we are required to close by law. These terms end when your account does, except for the sections that by their nature should survive (your content, disclaimers, and limitation of liability).
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change. The date at the top shows the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Callida Tech is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that state, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
